Wedding Photos: Signs and Details

Now that I have shared all the photos of the events of our Wedding Day I wanted to do one final post, pictures of many of the signs and small details. These small details are some of my favorite parts of weddings.

Signs

From my past posts many of you already know that I went a little sign crazy for the wedding and made quite a few, here are a few shots from them in use on the big day

This one was located at the entryway to the reception

Wooden Welcome Sign
This one was located at the beginning of the aisle of the ceremony

Please Choose a Seat Sign, See DIY Here
This one was also located at the front of the ceremony

Love Story Timeline
This was located next to the guestbook at the reception

Flowers

We didn't get many pictures of just the flowers but here are a couple

This is one of the bridesmaids bouquets at the reception, each of their bouquets were different which I loved. They were made up of assorted blooms in fall hues of white, peach, pink and cranberry with greenery.

Evans boutonniere, his was cranberry while the groomsmen's were white

A picture of one of the table centerpieces at the reception, they were all a bit varied as well

Lastly the best pictures I had of the head table garland flowers and greenery

Gifts

Evan gave each of his groomsmen and the fathers a personalized pocket watch

I gave my bridesmaids these robes from the picture on handmade white and gold personalized hangers

  1. Found your blog through Pinterest. Beautiful wedding. I have some questions about your cake. Did Whole Foods stack your cake or did you have to do it yourself? What size cakes are pictured? Was this just for cutting and what did you use for guests? How many did this cake serve? How did the cake hold up/how long was it unrefrigerated?
Thanks for letting me pick your brain!

    1. Thank you! For the cake we did the following: Whole Foods did stack their two biggest round sizes (I dont remember the inches) and we also got a full sheet of the same cake for the rest of the guests. This allowed us to have our favorite cake and it was actually way more affordable then a regular wedding cake. I think the venue took the cake out of the fridge right before the reception started and it held up great. Hope this all helps!

p.s. each whole foods has different rules for cakes, for example there were two locations in our home town and one was willing to stack cakes while the other wasn't so I would call and ask around!

  4. Frequently the best spot to begin is by contemplating the custom of the occasion and how you might want your visitors to feel on your big day! Regardless of whether you pick a casual greenhouse wedding with inconspicuous shading and regular tones or a themed wedding at a wild setting with intense wedding hues and stunning wedding designs, however you go it is the wedding air that you make that will produce the most recollections!
