I am so thrilled to share our home with you and everything we have done to it along the way. We purchased this home in 2018 right after moving to New Mexico from Dallas TX, you can see a tour of our first home in Dallas here.
When we started house hunting for this home our wish list was small, we were willing to put in cosmetic work if the house was in the right area and had the right amount of space. We didn't have children yet so we didn't need much. I will be sure to share before and afters in each room tour.

Our house is a two story, the entire first floor is an open concept space encompassing the living room, dining room and kitchen, while all the bedrooms are upstairs. The downstairs has a luxury laminate throughout the whole space in a cherry color, the actual flooring is discontinued.

We didn't do too much to this space other than paint, decorate and add a mantle to the fireplace. We love how it has the coziest feel and is a place we just want to hang out.

In the dining room we added a row of cabinets for extra storage, as well as some open shelving for decor.

This is the room in our house with the biggest transformation, going from brown cabinets to bright white. Then we added backsplash, lighting and got new appliances. To finish off the transformation we added a row of stacked cabinets and took the trim to the ceiling.

Once you travel upstairs you are met with a loft space that we use as our playroom as well as an office and bedrooms.

We use our loft space at the top of the stairs as another living space and our sons playroom. I recently did some updating to this space to make it more fun.

My office is the least put together space in the house most days but is still a great space to get work together despite all the "extras" that tend to end up in the space.

This is how the space looked before our son was born. We kept it neutral but also wanted a pop of color and lots of cozy elements.
This is my sons room once he transitioned from the Nursery above into a big boy room. The space is Cars themed.
