Coffee Bar with Gilmore Girl Signs

We officially moved into our new home the first weekend of December, however with the holidays and a destination wedding we haven't been home for alot of that time, so now we are finally getting around to some projects around the house.

Before we even moved in we discussed adding a coffee bar area to our kitchen. We are coffee lovers without a doubt in our household, mornings do not start until I have had my coffee. In addition to the coffee bar being fun, it ended up being a great solution to our limited counter space issue.

So first things first we needed a piece of furniture to create the "bar" and base everything around. We looked around quite a bit and ended up finding several great options at IKEA including the one we choose. (Side note my obsession with IKEA is ever growing now that we are home owners) We also purchased the bars with hooks for the cups there as well. From there we started building.

Now anyone who knows me knows I am an ultimate Gilmore Girl fan girl, so it was basically a no brainer for me to throw a little Gilmore Flair into the coffee bar. I added the two quote signs first then for Christmas my sister gave me the two cups.
